Welcome to my new, upgraded official website! For long, long years as most of the top chess players with extremely busy schedule for most of the year I did not have time and I did not have the energy to have daily interaction with chess fans and supporters as I needed to focus on my games and competitions. The European Parliament has adopted the Written Declaration “Chess in School”. In order to pass, a declaration must be signed by a majority of Members of the European Parliament (in this case, 378). On her trip to promote the royal game Judit Polgar played an invitational rapid tournament in Caxias do Sul, Brazil. Alogside with JP Brazilian legend Henrique Mecking, once third in the world, seven-time Brazilian champion Gilberto Milos, and Uruguayan GM Andres Rodriquez also attended the tournament.Judit made it to the final with 5 wins out of 6 games. After 10 amazing days of chess the strongest open ever in chess history is over. JP finished the last round with a great victory against a very noble opponent, the living legend Victor Korchnoi. After losing to Hou Yifan JP managed to pull herself together quickly and win in the next round against Marya Muzychuk.This win, though, was not pure joy, either.
